Galway United asking fans to break club attendance record for a Women’s League of Ireland game.

Galway United’s Women’s team are currently top scorers, and top of the Women’s Premier Division table, and wish to invite your club members, parents, coaches, volunteers, committee and their families into their game against DLR Waves on Saturday May 4th at 5pm in Eamon Deacy Park (H91 A97R) with one goal in mind, to break our club attendance record for a Women’s League of Ireland game. This is an ideal opportunity for an end of season day out for your club.

Did you know that “60% of Irish People admit they have never attended a live women’s sporting event in this country”? Help us improve that statistic from recent research carried out by Lidl, and prove there is large support for women in sport.

Please share this email with all those involved in your club and encourage all your members to attend the game on May 4th at 5pm and help us break the record.

Tickets: You can get your FREE tickets for adults and kids here: https://galwayunitedfc.ie/match-tickets/ (U12’s must be accompanied by an adult)

Prizes:

  • O’Neills sponsored kit for a local club (Jerseys, Shorts & Socks) for one squad of 25 players (this will be won by the club who have the most people in attendance at the game)
  • Mascot Packages
  • Season Tickets
  • Match Tickets
  • Vouchers and free product club sponsors

This is the last opportunity for before the summer for clubs to get into a game and take advantage of the tickets on offer, but to be part of a club record if we can get all clubs to get involved.

The senior women’s players and management team have been doing club and school visits for the last few months, and these will continue over the coming weeks, please let us know if you wish to get involved.
